We’re getting into the top price echelons with this vibrant vintage of Baldacci 100% Cab from Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, with only 375 cases (4,500 bottles) made. Brenda’s Vineyard is named in honor of the Michael Baldacci’s mother to exhibit “wisdom, beauty and grace.” The 29 acres of Winery Ranch Vineyards blocks are volcanic gravel-loams. The wine spent 29 months in 85% new French oak, bottled last spring at 14.5% alcohol, and is strong in red fruit flavors with a touch of caramel. Tex Baldacci is the spoiled canine who guards everything on the property.
