Winemaker's Collection Tasting

The Winemaker’s Collection Tasting is our most exclusive Napa Valley experience—an intimate, privately hosted visit personally led by Winemaker and Proprietor Michael Baldacci at our Stags Leap District estate.
Created for Cabernet collectors, enthusiasts, and guests seeking something truly uncommon, this experience offers a rare opportunity to taste with the person who grows, crafts, and curates the wines himself. In a region where private tastings are plentiful, opportunities to be hosted by the owner and winemaker are exceptionally rare.
Your visit begins with a welcome pour of Pops Sparkling Wine, followed by a private cave tour and barrel tasting with Michael. You will then be seated for a featured 10-year horizontal tasting of three 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wines from the 2016 vintage: Ruppert Vineyard (Coombsville), Howell Mountain, and Brenda’s Vineyard (Stags Leap District). Together, these wines offer a singular look at how vineyard site, terroir, and winemaking shape the expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Paired with a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie, this is a deeply personal and highly limited experience—designed for guests who want more than a tasting. It is a chance to spend time with the winemaker, hear the stories behind the wines, and enjoy a level of access few Napa Valley wineries can offer.
