For all you Black Label fans, we’ve pulled together a vertical from the cellar. Each set includes one 750ml bottle each of the 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages of our 100% Stags Leap District Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon.
2008 Black Label: Dark red ruby hues and powerful aromas of ripe red fruit, dried roses, figs, and caramel are the hallmarks of this classic Stags Leap District Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, flavors of dark chocolate, black cherries, cassis, and delicate oak notes combine with the balanced acidity and lingering tannins to give this wine great length and intensity. Our 2008 Black Label is the perfect food pairing wine with its excellent balance and will age well for 7-9 years. 94 points Wine Enthusiast
2009 Black Label: With a beautiful red ruby color, this wine quickly reminds you of the true intensity of a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District. Aromas of red currant, cassis, dried figs, white chocolate, leather, and earth get you ready for the delicious mouth-watering flavors of red berries, plum, dried herbs, and dark mocha. 91+ points Robert Parker
2010 Black Label: Our 2010 Black Label Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth, rich and generous – a Stags Leap District wine that offers multiple layers of the well-known “Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove.” Classic aromas of raspberries and cherries, dried black figs, hints of oak and minerals and fresh cinnamon leaves create an expectation of flavors that do not disappoint. On the palate, this wine is big in every way. Sweet black cherries, chocolate, clean earth, hints of bay leaves and a balanced lingering finish reminds us of what we mean when we say “Napa Valley Cabernet.” 93 points Robert Parker
