Wine is a perishable product!
A maximum of three days transit plus insulated shipping cartons with ice will typically maintain a temperature that will not damage the wine. However, a missed delivery attempt will almost always result in a melted ice pack and likely damage to the wine.
How it works!
- The weekly cutoff for all orders is Wednesday.
- Orders are packed and placed on a temperature controlled truck which departs every Friday from our Napa warehouse.
- The temperature controlled truck travels between 2 and 4 days to a temperature controlled regional distribution center.
- At the regional distribution center, the insulated shipping carton is inserted with frozen ice packs and the bottles are placed in a plastic sleeve to prevent label damage from condensation.
- The following morning the local carrier truck picks up the package and delivery to the final destination takes 1 – 3 days.

Adult Signature Required
Federal law requires that all alcohol be delivered with a signature from a person 21+ years of age. There are no exceptions to the Federal law.
Best Shipping Address
Shipment to a FedEx Office & Print store is recommended to avoid a missed delivery. FedEx will hold the package for five business days.
We do NOT recommend shipping to a UPS store as they operate as a franchisee and have been known to reject alcohol shipments, charge by the day to hold a package or reject packages that they deem too large or too heavy.
Tracking Information
You will receive an email with your carrier tracking information on the day that your wine leaves our Napa warehouse. The status of this tracking number will NOT show movement until your wine leaves the regional distribution center. This can take up to 6 days. Do not panic!
Missed Delivery
We cannot guarantee the shipment if you do not receive the wine on the first delivery attempt.
Return Policy
If the carrier damages or loses the shipment we will replace the entire shipment at no charge to you.
If the shipment is returned to us for no signature, no pick up from a store or for an incorrect delivery address, we will refund your order less a $200 return fee.
