2009 Mathilde Pinot Noir

Gentle red fruit aromas, violets, white chocolate and earth combine to bring the delicate characteristics of the Russian River into this glass of Mathilde, Pinot Noir. The flavors continue onto the palate with hints of cherries, cranberries, tea and quartz while superfine tannins combine to lengthen the profile. This wine is focused and fine in texture with a lingering finish of sweet spice. The 2009 Mathilde Pinot will age for 5-7 years with the best fruit-driven flavors in years 3-5.
